Fae Store Policies / Terms and Conditions

Payment Options and Checkout Details:

Fae Fine Jewelry by Talah Younis accepts Credit Cards/Debit Cards as well as paypal and a few other payment methods including Apple Pay. Fae does not have any installment payment options and payments are completed in full at the checkout. Once an order is placed it goes directly into production and cannot be cancelled. We advise you to be sure of your orders before placing them. If you do happen to place an order with a mistake (wrong size/color or anything of the sort) please contact us immediately – otherwise, failing to do so will result in you receiving the order as placed upon checkout. Please make sure to add all necessary information in the note box at checkout if requested to do so when reading the product description. All products come with a description and certain personalization items in drop menus pertaining to that particular product. However, for some products you may be requested to provide further information such as stone color or gold color at checkout in the provided note box. If the customer does not provide the necessary item information in the note box at checkout, Fae will attempt to contact customers for further product details and if a customer repeatedly fails to respond, we will assume the default colors as in the display images of the selected item and that is what the customer will receive. Customers are more than welcome to leave any additional notes that they may have in the note box as well.

 

Custom Order Requests:

If a customer wants to add or change anything in a product design, then they must fill out a custom order form with the requested details before placing any orders (please do not place an order for a specific shop product and ask to change it in the note box – we will not make changes to our designs unless you place a custom order and pay the incurring custom fee for your particular request). Fae will not change or edit any designs selected from the shop menu. Customers wanting to edit or change a design must fill out a custom order form. For custom orders, an added minimum fee of 300 USD per item will be incurred, please note that this fee is not fixed and may vary according to design intricacy. For customers wanting to create a completely new design, the same rules apply. Please send Fae a custom order form with all the requested details. Upon sending a custom order form, a representative of Fae will contact you back within approximately 2-3 workdays with a price quotation if your design request was clear. Upon receiving a price quotation, the customer then decides if they wish to proceed with the custom order or not. If your custom order request was vague, or further information is necessary, a Fae representative will contact you back asking for more details in order to fully understand your specific needs. We will help you select your desired precious stones according to your budget when applicable and help you create a design to your liking. Once you agree to a certain design and all of the discussed aspects including the given price and wish to proceed with the order, it will be added to the ‘Custom Order Designs’ page with your name under it. Please select the item with your name and proceed to checkout. Upon placing your order, we will immediately begin working on your design. Please note that Fae Fine Jewelry reserves the right to re-create and sell any and all of the custom order designs made by Fae as we are the sole copyright owners of any items produced by Fae, including custom designs. Anything made by Fae Fine Jewelry by Talah Younis is owned by Fae Fine Jewelry by Talah Younis. Customers who create a design with Fae and wish to sell that design in their own shops are advised to discuss the matter beforehand with Fae Fine Jewelry by Talah Younis as to avoid any copyright infringement issues and come to an agreement. Custom designs are created from scratch and therefore typically dispatch within 4-6 weeks (not including shipping time).

 

Local and International Shipping:

We offer free delivery or pickup within Amman), and use a specific courier service with a fixed shipping rate to other locations within the Kingdom of Jordan. We use Insured Fedex/DHL shipping to all international addresses; the delivery charge is calculated accordingly. Items of exceptionally high value may require further insurance, in which a Fae team member will contact you to inform you of such charges and procedure. Fae will normally not accept any changes to addresses after you place an order. If however the change is immediately noted and you hastily contact Fae prior to us creating a shipping label, then we may be able to alter your address – there may be additional fees if your address is in an entirely different region to that which you have originally specified. To be on the safe side, please verify that all information is 100% correct before you place an order. Shipping internationally typically takes anywhere from 3-10 days

 

Delivery Policy:

Processing time - The time Fae needs to prepare an order for dispatch varies. In our ‘ready-to-ship’ shop section, the items would typically dispatch within a few days of order placement. All other items are made-to-order, and the current make time is anywhere from 2-4 weeks (this time frame does not include shipping). For fully customized orders, the make-time remains 4-6 weeks after deciding on a final design and placing an order. This is of course an estimation and you may receive your order slightly sooner or later depending on the circumstances. Please note that shipping estimates are estimates given to us by our courier service and is merely an estimate. It may vary slightly. Furthermore, please allow up to 48 hours from when your shipping label is printed for it to scan in. 

 

Return and Exchange Policy:

Please note that all Fae pieces are made-to-order, and therefore we do not accept returns and all items are final sale. However, we are more than happy to repair any item defects if it reached you that way. You must however send in photo-evidence upon immediate unboxing of the item, otherwise we will assume that the defect was of the customer’s own doing and we will not be held responsible for the damage. We do not allow item exchange. If you have any questions before placing an order, please contact us at faebytalahyounis@gmail.com. Once an order had been placed, we wait up to 24 hours before putting it into production, after an item is put into production, it cannot be cancelled as all items are made-to-order. Fae does not accept any cancellations after 24 hours of order placement. Please be sure of your orders before placing them. Any cancellation requests after the initial 24 hours will not be permitted. For customers who filled out a custom order form and requested a custom design, customized orders can be refunded or canceled up to 48 hours after being ordered. Please note that all Items from the shop collections, including ready-to-ship items and custom orders and designs are non-returnable nor refundable. The consumer is responsible for the costs of returning an item for repair in the case of the item reaching defected. The courier service may be liable for defected items if the cause of the damage or defect or lost item is due to the courier service error, Fae uses only insured DHL shipping for all products shipped internationally. For damaged items that arrived damaged in which the courier service is not responsible for the damage, the consumer is responsible for all shipment costs, applicable taxes and incurred fees upon shipping an item back to Jordan for repairs, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Fae will only be responsible for shipping a repaired item back once the consumer has paid all applicable fees. Fae will not be held liable for any costs incurred due to conduct outside the terms of business. We are not responsible for any damaged or lost packages. Under no circumstances are diamond products eligible to be shipped back to Jordan for repair. In the case where a diamond product arrives defected, Fae will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and may decide upon a partial refund for the product (diamond cost will never be a part of the refund because they cannot be damaged) only faulty product design (the metal aspect of a product) refunds are available. In case where a product is lost and not covered by DHL or Fedex insurance, the customer is fully responsible for the lost product and Fae is free of liability. Certain precious stones may not be legible for insurance and therefore if it is lost in transit will be deemed the responsibility of the buyer and Fae is in no way obliged to refund any lost items that are uninsured. For local purchases made in Jordan, please do not hesitate to contact Fae for simple item adjustments if your items reached defected. In no way is a stone or item exchangeable. All diamonds come with a GIA certificate of authenticity. International customers are advised to repair small defects with their local jeweler as this is safer and more cost efficient than sending an item back and forth between countries.

Customs and Import Taxes:

Buyers are responsible for all customs fees, taxes, or receiving fees incurred. Buyers are responsible for knowing and abiding by any import restrictions to their country from Jordan. Buyers are fully responsible for any fees such as customs and import taxes that may apply. Fae is not responsible for delays due to items being held up by customs. Customers are advised to look up any regulations on imports and applicable taxes of the country they reside in before placing an order, especially if they are not aware of their country’s laws and regulations on this matter in order to avoid any surprise fees or shipment issues. Once an item has been dispatched, Fae is not responsible for any fees pertaining to the item in the customer’s country (delivery address).

 

The provider undertakes to always provide their clients with the following information:

  1. The corporate identity (name and address of the company Fae Fine Jewelry by Talah Younis)
  2. Contact information, allowing the consumer to communicate quickly and efficiently with Fae Fine Jewelry by Talah Younis (e-mail address, contact number)
  3. Essential and thorough information on the products or services being provided
  4. Product availability (every product or service offered online is made-to-order with a make time of approximately 2-4 weeks not including shipping – this is an estimate and time may vary according to the situation. Fae Fine Jewelry will always update customers on approximate make-time, shipment details or any other relevant information pertaining to the customer’s order status. In the case where an order is needed urgently customers may get in contact to see if the process can be expedited, they may incur additional fees for an expedited process)
  5. Delivery and performance terms (the method and period for delivery of the items or performance of the service will always be disclosed)
  6. All prices are unambiguously set on the website, they do not include shipping fees (shipping fees and certain insurance packages are added upon check-out)
  7. Payment and delivery method
  8. Offer validity period will always be announced on the website for any running offers, or by newsletter to those subscribed.
  9. All items are either personalized or custom made-to-order and therefore there no returns or exchanges on all items. Once a product has been ordered we immediately begin working on it (after the 24 hour mark) and therefore cannot cancel an order so please be sure before placing any orders.
  10. All orders go through a thorough quality assurance check before being shipped. If your item is somehow lost en route or reaches defected, you must disclose this information to Fae Fine Jewelry by Talah Younis upon immediate unboxing and send in photo evidence. If an item did not reach at all, Fae will investigate the circumstances through DHL/Fedex services. Due to the nature of the products being sent, Fae Fine Jewelry insures all items through the DHL/Fedex insurance process. Your item will be delivered to your doorstep and must be signed upon for release of the item to the consumer. In the case where your country requires additional fees or custom fees, they may hold your product and halt delivery until you pay the requested incurring fees. Fae is in no way responsible for any incurred fees, taxes or custom charges in your country of origin and returns are not acceptable in this situation, or any other situation. To clarify, all jewelry is made-to-order, we do not keep stock of any items seen on the website and therefore we do not accept returns. In the case of a lost shipment or a defect we will let the Courier service know and attempt to solve the issue promptly and justly. In situations like these or any other situation involving shipped items or dissatisfaction of any sort, Fae holds the complete rights to act in whatever way we deem fair on a case-by-case basis. Fae is not responsible for resizing or changing anything in the product that was not a previously disclosed in the item details of the particular ordered item. The customer is responsible for ordering the correct item and size. The customer must understand that each and every product is handcrafted and therefore unique and may exhibit slight differences. As we all know, no two stones are alike, and customers are encouraged to embrace the natural differences of nature’s beautiful precious stones.
  11. In the case where a customer is dissatisfied with a product they received, Fae Fine Jewelry holds the complete rights to accepting or declining the alteration of the product. In the case where we accept to alter a product, the customer is responsible for all shipping, insurance and taxation fees (for both the customer’s country of origin and Jordan). The customer is also responsible for paying any incurred alteration fees (dependent on what is being asked). Due to the complicated nature of such a request, Fae urges customers to be 100% sure of the item they want before placing an order. The wait time for altered products is dependent on what the alterations are, and these requests are fulfilled on a case-by-case basis. Fae Fine Jewelry urges customers to inquire before placing an order if they are in anyway unsure of the item or would like further details or assistance.

 

Upon confirmation of purchase in Fae Fine Jewelry by Talah Younis’s online shop, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • you confirm that you have read the terms and conditions, terms of use, and terms and scope of business provided by the online shop Fae by Talah Younis and that you understand these and agree to be bound by them;
  • that you are legally protected by the Consumer Protection Act, the congruent norms determine the high degree of uniformity of the services provided by the online store itself, while at the same time prevent the service provider from arbitrariness and inadequate limitations within the general terms and conditions that would not reflect our personal respect for the client;
  • that the personal information provided is valid and necessary to ensure the order is correctly fulfilled and later delivered to the desired address;
  • that you have carefully read all the terms and conditions of purchase and delivery, and expressly agree that the service provider is not liable for consequences of any irregularities and inaccuracies of the information provided that is generally verifiable, and that in accordance with business practices, the client is obliged to duly notify the service provider of them immediately;
  • that you expressly agree the personal data voluntarily disclosed is required for the service fulfillment and is subjected to the Personal Data Protection Act, and confirm that you are aware of the purpose of collecting this information (only for the purposes of fulfilling the order and providing a service);
  • the order is considered accepted when it is accepted by the service provider, which simultaneously means the conclusion of the sales contract;
  • all prices of services listed are valid until cancellation, and will not change after the order has been accepted;
  • the delivery is properly carried out when the package is signed for by the person at the address indicated as the delivery address;
  • the client explicitly agrees that the service provider is not responsible for the delivery, insofar as the client immediately sends the complete and properly arranged documentation regarding the order, and in particular the certificate of proper shipment of the parcel. In any event, incurred losses cannot exceed the value of the order, which the client paid to the service provider;
  • all personal data necessary for the proper fulfillment of the order will be carefully protected and will not be disclosed to third parties, except in precisely legally defined cases. Depending on the content and duration of each service, we will keep your information exclusively until the expiration of the appeal period regarding the protection of consumer rights, and after that time, only in cases when you give consent for the inclusion of your information in the data collection for our electronic notification system;
  • employees and outworkers of the online store who, within the limits of their authority and powers, process and use personal data relating to the fulfillment of online store services, which they have obtained based on your explicit consent that also indicates the legal framework for the use of personal data, undertake to respect your privacy absolutely, and we will issue an appropriate notice of any unauthorized or unacceptable interference in your privacy;
  • General Terms and Conditions are drawn up in accordance with Jordanian legislation and international regulations and directives. In the event of disputes arising in connection with the terms and conditions of sale and operation of the online store, we will assess your appeal objectively and fairly, taking into account the reasons for the appeal, in which case, if we fail to reach an agreement on the appeal, all claims and business documentation regarding the service provided and the resolution of the dispute will be submitted to the Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Jordan, which will determine the type of procedure, inform both parties of the procedure, and decide in accordance with their rules and regulations.
  • disputes arising from the order of online store services will be judged under Jordanian law, regardless of your residence or place of delivery. The established court jurisdiction, based on the service provider's headquarters location, is enforced if you state, at the time of order placement, that you are opposed to the procedure of out-of-court settlement of the dispute.

 

Product prices

All product prices listed are in United States Dollars USD($). We reserve the right to change prices, unless otherwise stated (in case of a sale or special discounts) without prior and special notice. Prices are valid at the time of the order and do not have a predefined validity.

 Material Defect

The rights arising from a material defect in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act can only be claimed by the consumer from the service provider. The Consumer must provide photo-evidence upon immediate unboxing of the product. A copy of the invoice must be attached, the service provider notified in writing, and the defect described in detail. The consumer must allow the service provider to review the item and sort out how the defect came to be, before the refund can be issued in the case where a consumer is not responsible for the defect. Seeing as all items are thoroughly checked for quality assurance before being dispatched, any item defects are a result of the shipping process or mishandling on the consumer’s part. Fae Fine Jewelry by Talah Younis uses insured DHL/Fedex shipping for all items.

 Warranty

We provide a one-year warranty on the craftsmanship of all of our jewelry from the date of completion for our local customers, we recommend that our international customers repair their items if needed at their local jewelers as this is safer and more cost efficient than sending items back to Jordan. For local Jordanian customers, during the first year, we will repair your piece free of charge for any structural integrity flaws. Center stones are not under warranty and will need to be insured in case of loss of stone or irreparable damage.

We will replace small melee diamonds and gemstones free of charge within the first year after the piece is purchased (2mm or smaller). After the first year, should there be damage to the piece (missing prong, etc), we will replace the diamonds/stones at cost to the client. Center stones are not under warranty and will need to be insured in case of loss of stone or irreparable damage. Please note that slight irregularities and variations in craftsmanship or natural characteristics, or internal inclusions, visible or otherwise, in colored gemstones are unique and individual to each item. These characteristics are considered part of the stones character and should not be considered a defect.

 

 Responsibility for Content

The provider will endeavor to ensure the data published on the website is up-to-date and correct. Photos published on the website, social networks, and other promotional and sales channels are images of a specific product. Due to the uniqueness of stones and handmade products, the products may slightly differ from the advertised images. Photos do not guarantee the exact characteristics of the items. Customers are encouraged to embrace the natural differences of our earth’s treasure and the uniqueness of handcrafted jewelry! No two pieces are exactly alike. Fae however does ensure that all products are as described with no obvious design deviations from the displayed images that would influence a customer’s decision to purchase a specific product. All custom orders fulfilled by Fae are created in accordance to the customer’s given description. The customer ordering a specific custom-made product must understand that the customized product will be an interpretation by Fae designers and therefore not exactly as imagined by the customer (but a very close interpretation according to the customer’s given details), the customer accepts this fact upon ordering a custom-design, seeing as the customer has asked Fae Fine Jewelry to create the inspired design and we are not mind-readers. The more examples (images, details) provided by the customer, the closer the product result will be to their expectation, but with of course, Fae’s special touch of design. Fae will not recreate another entity’s exact design or product. A customer cannot ask Fae to recreate a copyright design belonging to another corporation. Customers can ask for similar designs, or a design inspired by a specific image or product that they like, but it cannot be exactly the same as we adhere to copyright laws when applicable. Of course, all items in the public domain are not subject to copyright and customers are permitted to ask for common patterns, nature elements such as flowers or animals or anything considered public domain and common knowledge and is non-copyrightable and does not infringe on any obvious copyright laws to the best of our knowledge. 

 Complaints and Disputes

The service provider respects the applicable consumer protection legislation. A complaint can be submitted via e-mail faebytalahyounis@gmail.com The complaint processing procedure is confidential.

The service provider and the consumer undertake to do everything in their power to resolve any dispute by mutual consent.

For potential disputes, for which the method of settlement cannot be provided outside the court, the Jordanian court system will be used.

 Privacy Policy

The on-line store www.faebytalahyounis.com  undertakes to protect the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of on-line shop users in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette No. 86/2004). The collected personal data will be used exclusively for the fulfillment of the services we offer, provision of the information material, offers, receipts and other necessary communications. We respect the confidentiality of personal information and the privacy of on-line shop users, so we will do everything we can to protect them against any violations and abuses. Personal data of users are one of the subjects to which we pay great care and attention, as we are aware of their sensitive nature.

Changes to Terms of Service:

The service provider reserves the right to change the Terms of Business at any time and in any way, regardless of the reason and without prior notice.
